Amisha came to Math Artistry
in the summer of 2002

Amisha is going into the 4th grade.

Amisha's Alien Clock Design
After completingan addition table
using Zerd mathematics,
Amisha gave each number in the Zerd's
four hour clock a graphic. She applied the
graphics to the addition table and
came up with
this:

She tried using different
symmetries such as rotational
and reflective
when she repeated it
three more times.

Notice the diverse number of designs
she used: spirals, stars, dots, diagonal lines,
flowers, half and whole squares,
squiggles, and an X in the middle.
